No: 219, 23 July 2019, Press Release Regarding The Demolition Of Buildings In East Jerusalem Belonging To Palestinians By Israel
The demolition of some buildings in occupied East Jerusalem belonging to Palestinians is a new manifestation of Israel’s occupying and aggressive policies.
We strongly condemn such actions aimed at changing the demographic structure of Jerusalem.
These illegitimate acts which harm the vision of a two-state solution should be stopped immediately.
We call upon the international community to uphold the historical and legal status of Jerusalem and to take necessary steps to protect the rights of the Palestinian people.
